The Princess and The Sea

The Princess and the Sea features an open concept living and dining space with a beautiful chef’s kitchen and room to seat everyone in your group. Head outside to the sprawling mezzanine balcony to enjoy dining al fresco and find a table that seats 6 as well as a picnic table and many more chairs for relaxing. Downstairs on the first floor there's even more picnic table seating as well as four swinging chairs. The game room in our air-conditioned garage offers a separate space to entertain kids and adults alike with ping pong and foosball! Please note that this loft-style bedroom does not have a door and opens directly to the staircase; however, the L-shaped staircase does allow it to have some privacy from the living area below.

Rental agreement must be signed within 7 days of your trip. If we have not received the signed rental agreement, you will not receive access information for the property. House Rules: By making a reservation at THE PRINCESS AND THE SEA, Guest agrees that Guest and Guest’s party will abide by these Rules and Regulations, as well as any other Rules and Regulations posted on the property. Violation of these rules may result in termination of Guest’s stay, without refund of reservation costs. Please read these rules carefully and abide by them: 1. People other than those in the Guest party set forth in the Rental Agreement may not stay overnight in the property. The property shall not be used for parties or gatherings of any kind for anyone other than registered Guests (i.e. dinner parties, weddings, etc.) without advance express written permission of the Owner. 2. Pets: No pets are permitted at THE PRINCESS AND THE SEA at any time, not even visiting pets, inside or outside. Penalties and/or cancellation of reservation without refund will be enforced. 3. THE PRINCESS AND THE SEA is family friendly and welcomes well-behaved children who are respectful of the property. Guests are responsible for the actions of children on the property during their stay and are expected to keep close watch on them at all times for their protection and the protection of the property. Parents hereby agree to supervise their children both indoors and outdoors, especially in and around the stairs, balconies, and loft areas. 4. Quiet time is to be observed in the outside areas from 11PM to 7AM and music is to be kept at a reasonable volume at all times. 5. Plumbing: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper and human waste down toilets. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime; please dispose of them in trash cans provided. Do not pour grease down the sink. Grease should be cooled and thrown away in the trash. If there is a clog in the system due to improper use and failure to follow these rules, Guest may be charged damages at Owner’s discretion. 6. Smoking: Smoking of any substance is NOT allowed inside THE PRINCESS AND THE SEA. If guest chooses to smoke outside, hot embers or cigarette butts should not be thrown over the deck as it is a fire hazard. Guest is to fully extinguish all embers and dispose properly. 7. Alcoholic Beverages & Drugs: Guest agrees that there will be no illegal activities on the premises, including but not limited to: possession, serving or consumption of alcoholic beverages by anyone under the age of 21; or the possession or use of any illegal drugs. Additionally, Guest accepts full responsibility and liability and hereby indemnifies Owner and/or Owner’s agents for anything that happens in reference to Guest and/or Guest’s party partaking of any alcoholic beverages or drugs on the property. 8. No fires of any sort are allowed on the property unless in a barbeque pit. Barbeque pits are not to be used under the house and must be placed in an open area. Regardless of the legality of fireworks, they are not permitted at THE PRINCESS AND THE SEA at any time. 9. Vehicles may park anywhere on the paved driveway area, but must stay off of the grassy areas. 10. Bed/bath linens: Bath towels are for bathroom/bedroom use only – please do not take them to the beach! Beach towels are available in the laundry room for Guest use. Do not sleep in the beds with self-tanner on; it permanently stains our sheets and Guest will be charged to replace them. (Besides, you look gorgeous just the way you are!) 11. Do not attempt to walk in the grassy dune area between the house and the beach. It’s not safe for the dunes or for you. Please walk or drive around the dunes to get to the beach. 12. Please use the outdoor shower for rinsing off beach sand before entering house. Please shake sand off of all clothing and beach towels before taking them in the house and before putting them in the washing machine. 13. Guest is expected to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and to leave the property in the same condition as when it was rented. Guest promises to only use appliances and amenities of the vacation rental for their intended uses. Additional costs for damage, excessive cleaning or trash pickup will be charged to guests after departure. 14. Enjoy our home and everything in it during your stay! But when you leave, please leave our things for the next guests to enjoy. The contents of our house do not belong to any Guest; taking them with you is stealing and stealing is illegal (see rule #2). Please don’t steal our stuff.

There is currently a house under construction next door. They typically work until around 5pm on weekdays.
